ROAD TO THE DIVISION 1 FINAL FOUR

Division 1 Final Four is Upon Us

A competitive season and excellent weekend of quarterfinal playoffs leave us with just four teams left competing for this year's championship. Information about the 2022 Allstate Sugar Bowl Final Four Championships is below.

Catholic High
The Bears enter Championship weekend with a nearly flawless season. One hiccup against CE Byrd is the only blemish on an otherwise stellar record. Regular season wins over all teams left standing in the postseason, Catholic enters as the favorite to win their first ever LHSLL Championship.

Jesuit
The defending champions Jesuit Blue Jays have been slowly and steadily getting better all season. The road to defend their title starts with a rematch against a feisty St. Thomas More team looking to avenge an earlier season loss

St. Thomas More
St Thomas More enters the Final Four with just two losses on the season, losses to the aforementioned Bears and Blue Jays. The Cougars might have over achieved this season by simply getting here, but they are feisty team no one wants to play this late in the year.

Isidore Newman
The Newman Greenies make their first trip to the Final Four this year, but it is no fluke. They have been building towards this moment for years. A senior heavy team, the next step on their title quest is overcoming an early season 1 goal defeat to Catholic.

How to watch: On Friday, April 29 Catholic and Newman will face off in the first semi-final match up at 5:00 PM. Immediately following that game Jesuit and St. Thomas More will play in the second semi-final match up at 8:00 PM

All games will take place at Joe Yenni Stadium in Metarie, LA. If you cannot make it live, follow along with all the action on www.vsnlouisiana.com
